1. You should hold on to your dreams, if you work hard enough for them, they will come true.

This picture is very appropriate in my opinion. Martin Luther King Jr. gave his famous "I Have a Dream" speech on equality. He held onto his dream so tightly that he was assassinated over it. Even though King never saw his dream come true, others who shared it and worked for it did. Racism still exists in America, but thankfully segregation does not.

The picture and statement go along with A Raisin in the Sun in many ways. The title of the play was taken from a poem called "A Dream Deferred" for one example. The main characters were all striving for their dreams to come true. Walter Sr. died before he could see where his hard work sent his family; a better neighborhood.
