I think the statement is pretty self-explanatory, as is the picture. The surfer is obviously risking his life by taking on that monster wave, but I bet, whoever he is, he's famous somewhere for this picture. Maybe surfing is his dream and he is living it out. The motivational posters always come to mind when I need a visual representation.
As a connection to the play, the picture and statement are centered around taking a chance even though the consequences could be bad. Walter took his own risk by investing in a liquor store. He lost it all, and never got it back. I like to think his failure led him to another opportunity because of the all-or-nothing situation.
